On February 7 at noon, WCSU's monthly Brown Bag Lecture Series presented Dr. Hongmei Li-Byarlay, a researcher & assistant professor at Central State University's College of Science & Engineering Department.
Dr. Li-Byarlay spoke about her donation of the Illumina MiniSeq Sequencer to the department. Worth $50,000, the sequencer will initiate the research of honey bees' genetics behavior program. The lecture was moderated by WCSU intern Taylor Chapman.
