DAYTON, OHIO – April 19, 2017 – Super Science Saturday, one of the most popular family-oriented science events to take place in the Dayton area returns to the Boonshoft Museum of Discovery on Saturday, May 20, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Free of Charge! In honor of International Endangered Species Day, the Boonshoft Museum has planned educational sessions that draws attention to significant issues facing wildlife today. Super Science Saturday is one of three free admission days the Museum hosts for visitors throughout the year. Visitors always enjoy the interesting mix of educational talks, science theater, experiments, and wacky food vendors. Highlights* From the Super Science Saturday Schedule of Events Include: • 10:00 a.m. Collections Cart Outside Pizza Kitchen • 12:00 p.m. Did an Asteroid Kill the Dinosaurs? Planetarium • 12:30 p.m. Endangered Species Science On a Sphere® • 3:00 p.m. Conservation Corner Discovery Zoo • 3:30 p.m. Creative Science Do Lab *View the complete schedule online; subject to change Super Science Saturday is also known as a fun time for kids, so expect games and activities that also inspire creativity and scientific curiosity. Roaming animal ambassadors will meet and greet guests throughout the day. Food vendors Son-of-a-Biscuit, and the Wicked ‘Wich will be on hand to whet the appetites of science nerds of all ages. About the Boonshoft Museum of Discovery - Located at 2600 DeWeese Parkway, the Boonshoft Museum is open to the public 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday-Saturday, and 12 noon-5:00 p.m. on Sunday.
